Seafood was fresh! Steak was good. I made it a surf & turf meal by adding shrimp. The shrimp was cooked nicely. Appetizer was crab croquettes - delicious. The egg fried rice (without the egg lol) was delicious. We added shrimp to it. The halibut was cooked to perfection. Needed a little more seasoning but thats okay. I'd rather it be under seasoned than over seasoned. Entertainment was good! There was a jazz trio that was light and refreshing and you can tell they really enjoyed music and entertaining. We went on Wine-Down Wednesday. Didn't get any wine but its 50% each bottle if each person orders/purchases an entree. **PARKING is not great. We found a great spot next to the location, but we talked that spot into existence lol AMEN!!**

Delicious sea food at an affordable price. Had their lobster 🦞 roll exquisite and their fish and chips yummy along with their ceviche. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous they really know how to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. I had my small dog with me and they sat us in the patio and were super nice to her brought her a water bowl and offered a treat. I'm definitely coming back.

I have been wanting to try the 12 oysters and bottle of wine for $35. Host was sweet, gorgeous seating and bar area. Our server Gabriel was amazing.. our party of 4 had way too many questions and he never felt any of us feel dismissed or rushed. The food was great and their HH menu offers small delicious food.

Food was okay for what it was. A bit pricey. The place was empty but we had to call the waiter over. We ordered a lemonade and the cup had red flakes in it like it was dirty with tajin or something. We got clam chowder we had to ask for oyster crackers, the bread shown in their other social media posts was not offered. There were flys everywhere so we couldn’t eat comfortably even though we were inside. I know the restaurant doesn’t have control over flys especially since it has a large opening to the patio outside but it was still frustrating to have to swat flys the entire time we were eating. We came because the place had good reviews and we had gone to the beach this day. Sadly it was mediocre at best and I won’t be returning

We came in on Valentine’s Day . We found the restaurant on Google thought it would be nice we didn’t know it was dog friendly until we saw a dog okay the dog was well behaved no problem there . We ordered the seafood tower that was ok . We also ordered the clam chowder which was super thick like a lot of flower or something and we also got an order of fries those were good . They was like homemade fries . We also had 2 lemon drops . So here is the problem Danny R was our waiter he only came to our table to drop the food off couldn’t get his attention for salt . So we get the bill it was $169.66 we check the bill and he charged us $26.00 in gratuity it was only 2 of us dining no signs saying anything about gratuity added automatically. We will never ever ever come back here and if you choose to come here watch out for Danny R the gratuity theif .

This restaurant scores five stars in all categories! The food was out of this world! Seafood bisque is unique, creamy unexpected goodness all in one bowl!! The lobster rolls were a magical hit as well, as close to Boston lobster rolls as I have found to date! Home made fries with a fry sauce that has just the right amount of kick. And the atmosphere send this restaurant over the top, which made this visit one of our favorites! We will come back again for sure!

My second visit to Roe Restaurant for breakfast/brunch was nothing short of exceptional, solidifying it as a standout dining destination in Long Beach. Initially discovering Roe after another restaurant turned us away for having our dog, we were delighted to find their pet-friendly outdoor patio, which welcomes furry companions with open arms. The interior is equally impressive, adorned with charming trees and ambient lighting that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. We were promptly seated, and our server, Justin, provided impeccable service that elevated our meal. His friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and knowledge of the menu made every interaction a pleasure. Starting with the house Bloody Mary, garnished with a shrimp, bacon, and green olive, I was immediately impressed by its bold flavors—a must-try for any cocktail enthusiast. The small seafood tower was a delightful surprise, featuring fresh raw scallops that were a first for me and absolutely delectable. For my main course, I ventured out of my comfort zone with the Migas seafood scramble. The concept of seafood and eggs initially seemed unconventional, but this dish was a revelation. Perfectly executed, it ranks among the most memorable breakfast dishes I’ve ever had. The accompanying green salsa was a highlight—vibrant, perfectly spiced, and bursting with flavor, it’s easily one of the best salsas I’ve tasted. The kids enjoyed the French toast, which was equally outstanding and a hit with the whole family. Roe Restaurant consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience, from its pet-friendly accommodations and stunning ambiance to its innovative menu and top-notch service. Justin’s stellar service during both of our visits deserves special recognition. I wholeheartedly recommend Roe to anyone seeking a remarkable brunch spot in Long Beach—it’s a true gem!

I had a lovely experience eating here with a couple of friends. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious and unique, and we felt relaxed and comfortable inside the restaurant. There was outdoor-adjacent patio seating available as well. I really recommend the sweet potato fries, they have an unexpected flavor. Everyone at our table ordered tuna melt sandwiches. The fish was of an excellent quality. I would return again.
